Poster Guidelines
The poster reception will take place the evening of Wednesday, October 11, at the Tobin Performing Arts Center. Further details forthcoming.
Poster Dimensions:
Each author will share one-side of a poster board with one other author. Each author will have a usable area measuring 34 inches (86.36 cm) wide x 45 inches (114.3 cm) high. You may choose a vertical or horizontal format. Poster materials may not extend outside the assigned half-board.
Other notes on posters:
The posters will be mounted to the boards using T-Pins.
Your presentation should contain succinct headings that organize and logically display the information (e.g. 'Introduction,' 'Objectives,' 'Methods,' 'Results,' 'Conclusions').
Summarize the research using graphics when possible (e.g. charts, tables, graphs, images, etc.). Minimize the amount of text. Elaboration is best done verbally -- just as if it were an oral presentation using slides.
The poster should be readable from distances of approximately 3’. Lettering should be at least 1" high.
